LEKKI FREE TRADE ZONE

Our mission is to set a century model city as well as Africa business haven LEKKI FREE TRADE ZONE

LEKKI FREE TRADE ZONE is an area of land spanning about 16,500 HECTARES. Benefiting from special economic incentives for investment and development to help transform it into a model city and heart of Africa business. It was launched in 2004 by the Lagos State as part of it economic transformation programmes to fully utilize the investment and tourism potentials of the state.

OUR STRATEGY
We have adopted a three pronged
Investment/development strategy as follows:

Zoning
The LFTZ area of 16,500 hectares is to be split into zones ranging from Oil and Gas Logistic Park, Light and Heavy Industry and Manufacturing zone; Media Centre; and Urban/Residential zone.

Strategic Partnership and Alliances
Development of strategic alliances through the use of BOO’S, BOT’S, SPV’S AND SIV’S.

Phasing
There cycles to full maturity have been identified over a 15 years period.







AN INCENTIVE TO INVESTORS

· 100% foreign ownership of investment, and repatriation of capital, profit an dividends.
· Complete tax holiday from all taxes, custom duties and levies from Federal State and Local Governments.
· Waivers of all import and export licences.
· Permission to sell a percentage of manufactured imported and assembled goods into the Nigerian domestic market.
